Who we are
North Coast Water Check is an independent referral service. We connect homeowners with a local water treatment provider, and that provider performs all testing, sales, installation and service. We don’t sell or install equipment, we may be paid for referrals, and we aren’t affiliated with any city, water utility or government agency.
Information we collect
When you visit. This site has no forms or accounts, and we don’t use advertising or analytics cookies. Our website host may automatically keep standard server logs, such as IP address, browser type, pages requested and the date and time.
When you call. We or our phone service may receive your phone number and call details like the date, time and length of the call, along with anything you choose to tell us, such as your name, address and water concerns. We don’t record calls or use call tracking.
How we use it
- To connect you with a local water treatment provider and arrange your test
- To answer questions and keep records of referrals
- To keep the site running and secure
- To meet legal obligations
How we share it
When you call to book a test, your call or contact details and the information you give us are shared with the local water treatment provider so it can serve you. That provider is a separate business, and its own privacy practices apply to what it collects.
We may also share information with service providers who help run this site or our phone service, or when the law requires it. We don’t sell your personal information.
Keeping information
We keep information only as long as we need it for the purposes above or to meet legal requirements.
Your choices
You can ask us to tell you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it, and you can ask us not to contact you again. Email tbusinessmgmt10@gmail.com. Requests about information held by the provider should go to the provider directly.
